Brost named female athlete of the week

Heather Brost put on back-to-back strong performances to lift the Assiniboine College Cougars into first place in the women's volleyball standings.
The third-year middle posted six kills in each victory over the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers.
Brost is the MCAC female athlete of the week.
"Heather had a terrific weekend to lead our team to two wins. She makes attackers hit around her and was a force from the service line," said Cougars coach Kevin Neufeld.
Brost also recorded nine aces and three blocks on the weekend, as AC improved to 9-5 and is now two games clear of second place with four to go.
The Cougars host the Providence University College Pilots on Saturday and Sunday.
