Peake named female athlete of the week

Kylee Peake isn't slowing down after her all-Canadian season.
The Assiniboine College left side posted 21 kills and seven aces on the weekend, helping the Cougars women's volleyball team to two wins.
Peake is the MCAC female athlete of the week.
"Kylee had a great weekend, leading us to two wins," said Cougars coach Kevin Neufeld. "She is consistently our top attacker but also has a huge impact in all other areas of the game."
Peake recorded 13 kills, four aces, seven digs and a block as AC defeated Canadian Mennonite University 3-2 on Friday, its first win of the season.
She followed up with a terrific defensive game, recording eight kills, three aces and 19 digs as the Cougars beat the Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges 3-1.
The Cougars visit the Providence University College Pilots this Friday and Saturday, while the Blazers host Les Rouges.
