Arevalo named female athlete of the week

Kiyanna Arevalo scored the biggest goal of the Assiniboine College Cougars season on Sunday.
The captain netted the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over the Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges as the Cougars picked up their first win of the season.
Arevalo is the MCAC female athlete of the week.
"Kiyanna is a very important player for our team. We are happy to have her," said coach Manuel Luben Lozano.
Arevalo also hit the net in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Canadian Mennonite University, a game in which AC almost earned a point before CMU scored in added time.
This week, CMU faces USB at home on Wednesday night.
Assiniboine hosts Providence University College on Saturday and visits CMU on Sunday.
The Brandon University Bobcats visit Les Rouges on Saturday and PUC on Sunday.
