2022 MCAC Women's Soccer All Conference and Player of the Year Award

2022 MCAC Women's Soccer All Conference and Player of the Year Award

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) soccer season had numerous highlights and award winning performances throughout 2022. Both women's and men's soccer All Conference and Player of the Year awards were selected prior to the start of the MCAC Final Four Soccer Championship weekend which runs from October 29-30 hosted by Assiniboine Community College in Brandon.

2022 Women's Soccer Player of the Year: Sara Boissonneault – Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) Les Rouges

"Sara is a star and sometimes she needed to be convinced of that, but if you had the opportunity to watch her play or had the tough task of defending her, I think you would agree. She is a smart, speedy talented striker who found the back of the net an impressive 21 times this season. She not only scores goals but she also helped set up a handful of goals and is one of those players who helps elevate her teammates performances. A gifted player who was a big part of why our team had such a dominant season and earned so many successes. So proud of Sara and excited to see her shine this upcoming championship weekend." – Justin Légaré, USB Les Rouges Head Coach

Sara Boissonneault – 4th year Forward: 12 games played; 21 goals, 1st in MCAC scoring (11 goals ahead of second place) and Week 1 MCAC plus CCAA Player of the Week, 6 multiple goal games with 2 games of 4 goals scored each
