MCAC announces women's futsal schedule for 2024 season

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) is pleased to announce the futsal schedule for the 2024 season. Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) Les Rouges looks to add to their four consecutive titles in women's competition while Brandon University (BU) Bobcats seeks a three-peat in men's action as all five conference teams via for the championship trophies in the upcoming campaign.

The regular season commences on Sunday, January 14 with the first women's tournament hosted by Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Blazers with play starting at 11 a.m. Central Time (CT) and running until last match beginning at 6 p.m. CT. For the first men's tournament, Providence University College (PUC) Pilots will host on the same day and start times.

There will be five matches per tournament. Tournaments will run on January 14 then January 20 (women's matches hosted by Assiniboine Community College (ACC) Cougars and men's games hosted by BU Bobcats), February 4 (women's matches hosted by USB Les Rouges and men's games hosted by CMU Blazers) and February 17 (women's matches hosted by PUC Pilots and men's games hosted by USB Les Rouges).

Start times for all regular season tournament matches (women's and men's) are at 11 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. CT.

The 2024 MCAC Futsal Championship will be hosted by Brandon University on March 9 and 10 weekend in Brandon. The semi-finals are held on Saturday, March 9 with women's start time of 11 a.m. CT and 12:45 p.m. CT while men's matches start at 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. The Championship final will be the next afternoon with women's at 12:45 p.m. start and men's at 2:30 p.m. start. All Championship contests will be played at Healthy Living Centre at Brandon University.

January 14: Regular season first tournament (women's and men's)

February 17: Regular season final tournament (women's and men's)

March 9-10: MCAC Futsal Championship weekend
