MVP LaRocque named female athlete of the week

Faith LaRocque delivered in the biggest game of the season.
The MCAC women's basketball player of the year is now female athlete of the week after leading the Providence University College Pilots to a 69-58 win over the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers in the final on Sunday.
LaRocque posted 17 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in the victory.
This weekend, the MCAC basketball teams are off to the NIAC championship at Free Lutheran Bible College.
In MCAC action, the volleyball semifinals take place at CMU on Friday, with the futsal final four at PUC on Saturday and Sunday.
