MCAC announces 2026-27 volleyball schedule

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference volleyball season will open with a rematch of the 2026 women's final.
The defending champion Assiniboine College Cougars host the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers on Oct. 16 in Brandon.
"We are very excited to open against our friends from CMU, who always play hard," said Cougars coach Kevin Neufeld. "It will be a real good test for our talented young team to be able to compete with an experienced team on opening weekend."
Also on opening night, the Providence University College Pilots men's dynasty begins their quest for a fifth-straight MCAC banner on the road at the Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges.
The Red River College Polytechnic Rebels make their long-awaited return to the MCAC on Oct. 17 when they visit the Cougars, and they make their home debut against the Pilots the following day in Winnipeg.
The 20-match regular season concludes on Feb. 13.
First place earns a bye to the best-of-three final series, while second hosts third place in a semifinal.
The winners head to CCAA nationals on March 10 to 13.
