Pilots repeat as men's volleyball champions

The Providence University College Pilots knew they had to win two matches in one day and did just that.
After dropping the first match of the men's volleyball final to the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers, they came back to win the second one, then sweep the best-of-three third match 2-0 on home court on Sunday.
"It feels pretty unbelievable. There was a handful of key guys we were missing yesterday and they were able to play today," said championship MVP Liam Buhler, who was named to the all-conference team.
"They made all the difference. Having them on the court gives everyone confidence because we trust them so much and we can just build on that."
Player of the year Cole Doell led PUC with 17 kills while Max Anderson had 12 for CMU in Sunday's first match, a 3-1 win for PUC.
The Pilots will represent the MCAC at CCAA nationals in Edmonton March 11-14.
