Berube named male athlete of the week

Nathaniel Berube saved his best weekend of the semester for the last one.
The Assiniboine College Cougars outside hitter racked up 31 kills to help his team sweep the Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges and head to the break tied for second place in the men's volleyball standings.
Berube is the MCAC male athlete of the week.
"Nat has been great all year for us. He's put in a lot of work to get to where he is today and I couldn't be prouder of his efforts in the first half," said Cougars head coach Dan Ashfield.
Berube added eight aces and 16 digs over the two matches, a 3-0 sweep and a 3-2 comeback victory.
The Cougars and Canadian Mennonite University Blazers are tied for second at 5-4, one win back of the Providence University College Pilots at 6-3.
Les Rouges sit fourth at 2-7.
