Gborie named male athlete of the week

Randy Gborie had a busy weekend and an equally fantastic one.
The Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges pivot played three games in three days, leading his team to three men's futsal victories.
Gborie is the MCAC male athlete of the week.
"Randy is a great example of a great athlete and a real leader," said Les Rouges coach Yahia Chihab. "This week we had a big weekend and we prepared well for it, but he definitely put us on the right path with his goals, and strength in the pivot position, as well as his defensive role from pressing to sprinting and stopping the opposition's buildup."
Gborie scored three goals in USB's 5-4 win over CMU, then hit the net in two more victories, 10-3 over Assiniboine College and 5-3 over Brandon University.
Les Rouges are now first in the standings at 5-1-0 with two games to go.
