MVP Oshode named male athlete of the week

Taiwo Oshode scored one of the biggest goals of the MCAC men's soccer season.
The Canadian Mennonite University Blazer opened the scoring against the Brandon University Bobcats in the final, propelling his team to a 2-1 victory.
Oshode is the MCAC male athlete of the week.
He was named the final four MVP after helping CMU to a 2-1 win over the defending champion Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges in the semifinals on Saturday.
The Blazers are off to CCAA nationals for the first time, taking place on November 5-8 in Saint-Lambert, Quebec.
