2022 MCAC Men's Soccer All Conference and Player of the Year Award

2022 MCAC Men's Soccer All Conference and Player of the Year Award

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) soccer season had numerous highlights and award winning performances throughout 2022. Both women's and men's soccer All Conference and Player of the Year awards were selected prior to the start of the MCAC Final Four Soccer Championship weekend which runs from October 29-30 hosted by Assiniboine Community College in Brandon.

2022 Men's Soccer Player of the Year: Camilo Rodriguez – Brandon University (BU) Bobcats

"Camilo plays the game with a lot of emotion and heart. His passion for the game is evident during training and games alike. He has a strong desire to be the best player on the pitch and he wants his teammates to play at their best as well. He loves to have the ball in his possession and find the back of the net, which he often does successfully. He is becoming a complete player as he looks to move the ball to his teammates and works to get the ball back if we lose possession. Camilo is quickly becoming a leader in only his second year with the Bobcats." – Glen McNabb, BU Bobcats Head Coach

Camilo Rodriguez – 2nd year Forward: 12 games played; 15 goals, 1st in MCAC scoring, Week 2 MCAC plus CCAA Player of the Week, 5 multiple goal games with 2 games of 3 goals scored each
