Riley Paul once again MCAC men's basketball player of the year

Riley Paul is back atop the MCAC. This time, he doesn't have to share his spot.
The Providence University College Pilots forward has repeated as men's basketball player of the year after being named co-player of the year last season.
"Riley has been a dominant force on the court all season. On both ends of the court, he controls the tempo and contributes in multiple ways to the team's success," said PUC head coach Pierre Dubreuil.
"Off the court, he has been a captain for 2 years, leading the guys as our locker-room guy. His passing is great, Riley stretches the floor by being a three-level threat and makes his presence known in defence by being a good shot blocker. He also has done a good job this year at staying level-headed with the referees."
Paul led the conference with 15.3 points and 4.3 assists per game while adding 9.1 rebounds per game, guiding the Pilots to a 6-2 regular season and 20-4 overall record.
He led the Pilots past the MCAC's top seed Canadian Mennonite University Blazers in Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action last weekend, en route to a silver medal. He will look to do so again as the Pilots and Blazers vie for the MCAC title at Université de Saint-Boniface on Saturday at 8 p.m.
