1. Your goal for this season…And has it changed now?
Answer: My goal for this season was to enjoy the process and make the most of it, it is a privilege to be playing right now and I want to soak it all in. My goal hasn’t changed much but winning MCAC is definitely my main goal at the moment.
2. How difficult was it to return to conference play after year off due to COVID-19?
Answer: Not that difficult actually, our head coach Joe Di Curzio set up a lot of scrimmages for us to play and not have to worry about just jumping into games. I think that really helped us start with a great game as we were able to focus on what we need to work on before conference play.
3. Why did you choose volleyball as a sport?
Answer: My middle school gym teacher Mr. Bruce Boyko thought I would be good at it, and encouraged me to play. I kept playing because I enjoyed watching myself get better at something I loved doing. It is a sport filled with discipline and a strong work ethic and that has translated into my off court life.
4. Who is the joker/fun person on your team?
Answer: Not to toot my own horn, but it is definitely me. I love putting a smile on the girls faces and putting my best energy out there for every practices and games.
5. What are you listening to right now?…and/or pump up music?
Answer: My pump up music is definitely Afrobeats. I am Nigerian and the music is a big part of my culture. It reminds me of home and I think Afrobeats is the best music out there.
6. Best social media/website to follow?
Answer: Definitely TikTok. People are insanely creative on there.
