The MCAC is ready to kick off its 2021 soccer season this September after COVID-19 forced the cancellation of last season.
Opening Weekend
The new campaign starts with two rivalry games with the CMU Blazers facing the PUC Pilots and the ACC Cougars hosting the BU Bobcats on Saturday, Sept. 11. Those games will be followed up by the USB Les Rouges playing their first game of the year against the Cougars and the Blazers hosting the Bobcats on Sunday, Sept. 12.
Game Times
This season, the women kick off their weekend games at 1 p.m., with the men following at 3:15 p.m. On weeknights, the women play at 6 p.m. and the men end the night at 8:15 p.m.
Championship rematches
The USB Les Rouges host the PUC Pilots on Saturday, Sept. 25 in a rematch of the 2019 women’s championship game. The Rouges completed an undefeated season in 2019, capping it off with a 2-0 victory over the Pilots in the championship game.
The BU Bobcats are coming off the university’s first-ever MCAC soccer championship in 2019. The Bobcats edged out the Pilots in a 3-2 battle and the Pilots will look for revenge in Brandon on Saturday, Sept. 18.
