PUC adds offensive fire power with new men’s soccer recruit

Head coach Joseph Passi announced earlier this week that the Pilots men’s soccer team has added offensive threat Zach Vandenneucker to the 2021-2022 squad.

From Tillsonburg, Ontario, Vandenneucker comes to the Pilots and adds some great depth in the attacking front. He is known for his quick speed, all around athleticism and knack for the net.

“I’m excited to join the program and bring my talents and hardworking mentality both on the team and within my studies,” said Vandenneucker, “I’m also looking forward to a new experience and meeting teammates and other students! Looking forward to the upcoming year!”

Vandenneucker last played for club team Tillsonburg Titans FC and LS Croatia. The 5’7″ stiker will give Coach Passi some great attacking options up front for this fall season. Vandenneucker comes to Providence to study in the Buller School of Business.

Coach Passi commented on his newest recruit by saying, “Zach is a hard-working player with a fantastic attitude. He’s the kind of team-mate every team wants on their team. Furthermore, he brings a power-forward type skillset to our attack that will fit in very nicely with what we have. I have no doubt he’ll be adding goals and play-making to our program. We’re pumped to have him join the Pilot family.”
