Fifth-year defender Aidan Beckingham scored a hat-trick in CMU’s 6-3 win over the RRC Rebels on Saturday.
The veteran leader scored his goals at critical moments in the match, to keep CMU in front and ultimately win the game.

“He was also a really positive player on and off the court, helping his teammates to get organized and bring home another win for us,” said Blazers head Anderson Pereira.
Beckingham’s play was of no surprise to his coach — he has been a consistent player throughout his MCAC career.
“Aidan’s powerful and accurate shots, combined with his intelligence and understanding of the game makes him one of the top players in the conference,” said Pereira.
Beckingham is in his final year of eligibility at the college sports level and is enrolled in the arts program at CMU.
The Blazers travel to faceoff with the PUC Pilots on Friday, January 24.
