First-year MCAC athlete, Sami Love recorded 36 digs and 29 kills this weekend to lead the ACC Cougars to their first win of the season. The Cougars lost to CMU 3-2 on Friday, but continued to battle for a 3-2 win over the same team on Saturday.

“She made the change … and is consistently leading the team in the majority of stat areas, said Cougars head coach Jeff Maxwell.
With U SPORTS experience under her belt, Love is the captain for ACC this season.
“Last weekend’s stats proved why she deserves the title,” said Maxwell. “She led the team with 68 hitting attempts and 29 kills, a kill average of .355 per cent.
Love is enrolled in the Practical Nursing program at ACC and is from Dauphin, Manitoba.
The Cougars got in the win column and hold a 1-5 record this season. The team will be back on homecourt on Friday, Nov. 22 to host the RRC Rebels.
