The Les Rouges found success when middle Bendu Dukuly was on the court — she had a +13-point differential when she was on the court.
Dukuly had 11 kills, eight blocks and three aces to help lead USB to two wins this weekend.
The second-year middle wasted little time to fit in with her new team.
“Bendu has worked hard during the offseason and has made a point of raising her practice intensity,” said Les Rouges head coach Evan Turenne. “She was a force at the net with her attacking as much as her blocking.”
Dukuly is enrolled in the faculty of social work at USB.
The Les Rouges began their 2019-20 season with wins over the CMU Blazers and RRC Rebels. The team hits the court next on Friday, Nov. 8 when they travel to face the ACC Cougars.
