Congratulations to Josh Goossen, outside hitter for the RRC Rebels, who is the male athlete of the week.

The UofM Bisons transfer had “the most dominant performance” Rebels’ head coach Lindsey Habib has seen in his two seasons, connecting on 56 kills with a .384 hitting efficiency in back-to-back 3-0 sweeps over the ACC Cougars.
“Josh has had a very strong year leading the conference in kills,” says Habib. “He has dominated right from the start, and this weekend was his most impressive performance – he took it to another level.”
The Rebels will host the Providence Pilots (7-8) in their last game of the season this weekend after missing out on the playoffs by just two games. This may be Goossen’s final game with the Rebels as well, as he is set to graduate from the creative communications program this June.
