Congratulations to Brett Foley, the Providence Pilots men’s volleyball third-year middle, who is our male athlete of the week!
The Pilots were up against a strong blocking performance from the ACC Cougars this past weekend, but Foley was able to come up with 15 kills to help his team get the 1-1 split out in Brandon.
The Portage la Prairie native also put up a career high 22 blocks through both matches, including 16 in the Pilots five-set loss to the Cougars on Saturday.

“Brett was our best player at the net,” said Pilots head coach Scott Masterson. “He gave us a chance to almost pull out a two-sets-to-zero comeback win on Saturday.”
The Pilots bounced back from their first loss of the season with a win against the visiting USB Les Rouges on Wednesday and will host the CMU Blazers this Friday at 7:30 PM.
