Jerra Green, Cougars rookie forward and police studies student, has led her team to their best season on record through the first half of games.
“Jerra is an outstanding athlete,” said head coach Mark Murray. “She leads our forward line with power and pace and is almost unstoppable for opposing defenders.”
In her rookie season in the MCAC, she is leading the conference in goals with 10 of her team’s thirteen total. She is a force to be reckoned with playing both a physically and mentally strong game. She is a leader on and off the field, bringing a mature, positive and competitive attitude every day.
This last weekend Jerra scored all four goals in the Cougars 4-2 win against the then top ranked PUC Pilots and then followed it up the next day with another goal to draw (1-1) with CMU Blazers.
The Cougars’ women’s soccer team is off this Thanksgiving weekend, but then will host its Brandon rivals on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 PM.
