Alex Alvarado, Bobcats junior midfielder from Brandon, MB and Vincent Massey High School, has been a key player in the their hot, undefeated 5-1-0 start this season.
“He is key in breaking up the opponent’s attacks while also building our attack going forward,” said Bobcats head coach Jesse Roziere.
Alvarado played a big part in the Bobcats building a 3-0 lead over the CMU Blazers on Saturday and ultimately securing the 3-2 win. He followed up his play with a “player of the game” like performance in Providence helping his team work from behind for the first time this season.
The Bobcats’ men’s soccer team is taking a well-deserved break this Thanksgiving weekend, but get going again the following weekend when they take on their Brandon rivals the ACC Cougars.
