Camille had a record-setting weekend for the Blazers with 5 goals and 4 assists that pushed her team to the top of the standings early.
“She has already had a big impact on our program by bringing her attacking force to our midfield and by increasing our intensity in games and practices through her passion for the game”, said coach Cara Isaak.
Camille played 180 minutes this weekend and has found a home in the midfield triangle with MCAC All-Stars and team veterans Esther Schwarzkopf and Naomi Klassen.
“She opens up a lot of space for the players around her because the other team needs to be mindful of her at all times. She can create scoring chances from distance or drive to the net with a lot of speed”, said coach Lianna Bestvater.
The Blazers visit the Brandon University Bobcats next Saturday, September 30 at 1:00.
