The University of Winnipeg (UW) and Universite de Saint-Boniface (USB) will once again be fielding Men’s Volleyball programs after spending seasons without. As well, USB will feature a new Women’s Soccer program this fall.
Providence University College (PUC) will also field both Men’s and Women’s Futsal programs after spending last season without either.
The MCAC is proud to add more programs to its already competitive field of play and wishes all new athletes, coaches and facilitators to the MCAC the best of luck with their seasons.
The MCAC has also announced that during the 2015-16 season, student athletes received more than $115,000 in athletic awards. These awards assisted student athletes in their academic studies and helped them continue to participate in their sporting endeavours.
The 2016-2017 MCAC season officially kicks off on Saturday, September 10th, when Canadian Mennonite University visits Providence University College in Otterburne, MB for men’s and women’s soccer. Scheduling, scores and coverage can be found here online at mcacathletics.com.
